Welcome to the Hayloft Inn

Hayloft Inn is Closing as of September 1, 2014

We thank all of you for your past patronage. We have enjoyed having each and every one of you as guests in our home. But after 12 years, it is time to move on.

Ann and Joyce

Located in the beautiful pastoral setting of North Haverhill, New Hampshire, the Hayloft Inn is a newly built post & beam home overlooking the first fairway of Blackmount Country Club and the Vermont hills. North Haverhill is a small rural town in the Upper Connecticut River Valley — north of Dartmouth College, and on the western slopes of the White Mountains. The Hayloft Inn has recently gone green with both solar electricity and water.

The Hayloft Inn features vaulted ceilings, country decor, hearty country breakfasts, a Maxfield Parrish Gallery and the nearby Blackmount Country Club Golf Course and Driving Range. The rooms are named after local mountains.

Our guests will enjoy the unique country decor and furnishings collected over many years from family, friends, and country auctions.

The hearty breakfast we offer our guests will long be remembered by all.
Two sample breakfast menus:

  • French toast, waffles, or pancakes with maple syrup from our own trees
  • Bacon or sausage
  • Fresh fruit cup - our blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries
  • Our cinnamon flop coffee cake, popovers, and sconces enhanced by our homemade raspberry or strawberry jam
  • Bacon or sausage
  • Two egg omelet with roasted red peppers, carmelized onions, and cheddar cheese

Are you hungry yet? We also offer homemade donuts with maple syrup. No matter when you're here, you'll have a great breakfast. That's our promise. Just ask our many guests. Special diet needs are our specialty.

The Maxfield Parrish Gallery is a spectacular room displaying Parrish prints and memorabilia. It is a wonderful area for guests to sit, relax, and view the work of a well-known local artist.

Whatever the reason you come to stay with us, the area offers many activities for you. There are antique shops, flea markets & country fairs. There is golfing, fishing, hiking, biking, walking, canoeing, kayaking, downhill skiing, snowmobiling, and x-country skiing. At any time of the year, there are scenic drives.

Above all, come to the Upper Connecticut River Valley and the Western boundary of New Hampshire White Mountains to relax in its rural character. Catch a glimpse of wild turkeys, geese, deer, ducks, moose and bear. Enjoy the seasonal sights and sounds of nature. Here, away from the city lights, the Milky Way, stars, comets and Northern Lights are sights to behold.

The unhurried ambience of the Hayloft Inn at Blackmount and the Blackmount Country Club Golf Course can be enjoyed by all.
